1966 Volkswagen 21 Window Deluxe Bus with Safari

This is an original 21-window DeLuxe repainted in its original Sea Blue/Cumulous White that drives great. The body panels appear all original along with the belly pans, the paint is in great shape and there is no rust.

It has all the original Sekurit glass except the front Safari windows by Wolfgang International. The interior is very clean, all jail bars are present. It still has its middle seat and it is in excellent condition.

The Sliding Sunroof is wonderful for those cool summer evenings and warm summer days.  It operates great and opens and closes very smoothly.

The front floor panel appears to have been repaired or replaced. All other lower panels in the center section as well as the rear appear to be original. There is no major rust anywhere. There is some slight corrosion here and there on the lower panels, but it’s acceptable and there are no holes through the chassis.

Everything works, all lights, switches, and handbrake operate as they should.

During the current ownership, the bus has been tuned up and the front steering system has been rebuilt. The brakes are original drums and stop well with a good firm pedal.

It cruises down Highway 101 beautifully and it’s a dream to drive.

Overall, the bus is in very nice original condition. It starts up well, runs well, drives well, and stops well. The listing price is $85,000.00.
